8 Ball:

Tables are available during opening hours. There is no charge for the use of the tables. Regular tournaments are held.

The Glenview Club's 8 Ball section meets on Thursday nights. Drawn pairs entries by 7pm.  National Rules apply: $3.00 Entry, end of month $5.00.

All Members and non-members are welcome to come along and join in.  For details please contact the Club.

Bar Facilities:

We offer a full range of bar facilities in various areas of the Club to cater for all Members, Sports Sections and Functions. All at reasonable prices.

There is a large screen TV in the Sports Bar where you can enjoy your favourite sport on SKY TV. On a nice day you can sit on the balcony, take in the scenery and enjoy the company of others and enjoy a cool drink.

You are invited to visit us and enjoy a complimentary drink. Just say that you saw the Glenview Club's web page. Then sit back and enjoy the pleasant surroundings.

Restaurant
A 'A La Carte' menu is available in the Peacockes Restaurant on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 6pm.


Bistro Bar
Open Thursday to Saturday for light meals, chips, etc plus a takeaway service.

SPORTING ACTIVITIES

Indoor Bowls

Weekly on a Wednesday, which is their social night. Inter-club tournaments makes Indoor Bowls very popular in our Club.

Darts

13 Dart Boards are available for club nights making this the best facility in Hamilton.

Snooker

4 High quality tables are available to members, and these can be used at no cost. Social nights are every Wednesday. Local and inter-club tournaments are played.

8 Ball

4 High quality slate tables are available for the enjoyment of Members, with regular weekly and inter-club tournament being played.

Golf

Regular monthly tournaments are held at various clubs.

Tennis

Our Club features 2 grass courts for your enjoyment.

Outdoor Bowls

A full size green is available to all club members. Regular roll ups and tournaments are a feature.

Gaming

9 modern gaming machines are situated in the Sports Bar for your enjoyment and comfort. All our gaming machines are connected to a 3 tier jackpot.

Raffles

The Club and sections subsidise their activities by running raffles. Great prizes can be won.

Club Lucky Draw

Every Friday evening Members have a chance to win our Lucky number draw. You must be there to win.

Courtesy Bus

Our bus runs on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4pm until closing. This service is provided by volunteer drivers until 8pm, then by our Bus Driver.

A NEW ZEALAND CHARTED CLUB

Club's new Zealand was established 84 years ago as with the object of promoting Friendship, Entertainment and Sporting Facilities.

The Glenview Club continues these traditions. Our extensive club facilities are situated in Peacockes Road in Hamilton. We are open for mixed Male, Female and Junior members (from 15 yrs).

Membership fees are on a sliding scale. You are invited to inquire about membership of the Glenview Club Inc.

The Glenview Club is a family club and allows children of all ages accompanied and supervised by a caregiver in areas designated by the club during approved hours. Once a member, apart from club activities, we offer reciprocal visiting rights to many other Chartered Clubs throughout New Zealand.
